Fungi are colourful and wierd but also play an important ecological role in the environment.
Learn about the common and not so common fungi species that make their home here North of the City of York.

What to bring/wear
We'd recommend sturdy and waterproof footwear or wellies, and lots of layers! It could still be midge and mosquito season so we highly recommend wearing insect repellent.
Toilets and catering
There are no toilet or catering facilities on this site.

Parking
Please park considerately on Moor Lane. There isnt any dedicated parking at this reserve, so if you can please use public transport, or walk.
Additional information
You may wish to bring a picnic and a flask of hot drinks but please take your litter home with you.
