Starts this Monday!!Minnesota has been pouring out musical talent since the 50’s and we are going to take a hit driven ride into all of these great songs over the years from MN ARTISTS, SONGWRITERS AND STUDIOS.
Think of ARTISTS like Prince and Bob Dylan, but also The Trashmen, Eddie Cochran, The Andrews Sisters, Judy Garland and even Lizzo and The Time…SONGWRITERS like Dan Wilson (Somebody Like You - Adele, Closing Time - Semisonic), Keith Follese (The Way You Love Me - Faith Hill), Dennis Morgan (Sleeping Single In A Double Bed - Barbara Mandrell) Michael Johnson (Bluer Than Blue) and all the great songs that came out of our many great local studios like Flyte Tyme (Janet Jackson, Michael Jackson, Lionel Richie and more) Paisley Park (Prince, Fine Young Cannibals and more), Pachyderm (Nirvana, Soul Asylum, Jayhawks and more). Lots of surprises in this one. We are excited to pay homage to our OWN in November. Minnesota Homegrown (Songs from MN Artists, Songwriters and Studios) is the first show of their TWENTIETH SEASON.
