Make your own plant dyed cotton bandana
About this Event

Join Natalia from @dyedelion for an Introduction to natural fabric dyeing and create your own plant dyed bandana! Dyeing is the age old process of adding colour to all types of textiles. Its is a super creative and most enjoyable skill.

The workshop will teach you the basic principles and practice of natural dyeing. You will learn which plants make the best dyes; the plant kingdom is the most abundant source of dye ... berries, leaves, wood, etc can all be used as well as kitchen waste. Learn how to to make a dye bath and how to make colour last.

Suitable for complete beginners and those who have a little experience but would like some more practical guidance. Adults only as you will be handling hot liquids.

No experience needed. All material provided on the day.

Meet Natalia at Clitterhouse Farm on Saturday, 25th September at 12pm. The workshop will take place at her studio, which is a short walk away.
