Get ready for a night of artistic expression in Fable's bookshop basement as we host our Open Mic Night!
For our Audience:
Expect an evening brimming with music, poetry, spoken word, and comedy as we invite gifted performers to take the stage and share their art with our Fable community in our intimate, cozy, creative setting. Arrive at 7pm to select your seat (first come, first serve!) and performances will start promptly at 7.30pm. The event is very popular and can get toasty down there, so do arrive on time and dress for a warm evening! <3
Our bookshop basement in Príncipe Real is the perfect setting to unwind, enjoy performances by local artists, and mingle with fellow art lovers - and while you’re here, maybe even grab a glass of natural wine and enjoy a delicious dinner - yes, we do that too!
We know full well that our Fable community is packed full of talented performers and can't wait to share them with you! See you soon! :)

Whether you're a seasoned performer or looking to make your debut, this is your chance to be part of an inclusive community event that celebrates creativity and self-expression. There are only 10 performance slots available so we will be taking applications to ensure we have a luscious variety of acts for our fabulous Fable audience. There may be a few slots available on the night, so arrive at 7pm to pop your name on the waiting list.
About the Venue: Fable
Fable is a wellness cafe and English bookshop in Lisbon. We offer colorful, delicious meals, specialty coffee, natural wine, cold-pressed juice and a thoughtfully curated selection of both fiction and non-fiction books. We also host a medley of events and workshops, usually focused on creativity, wellness, book launch parties, and inclusive community gatherings. See you soon!
