FABA Far West annual forging contest. This year we are making Pizza cutters - use your imagination and make it interesting. The only criteria is it has to cut pizza. We meet at 9 to set up and the hammer falls starting at 10am. You have 5 hours to craft your best cutter. Make it bad, make it bold, but make it done and ready to split cut a pizza by 3pm. Judging will start at 4pm (after we strike camp) Criteria - must cut pizza and must look good (Timber Creek will be the judge). Tools (forges, anvils, power hammer, grinders, shaving horse and draw knife, ...) and materials provided by Traditions Workshop and FABA, but if you are looking for a special piece of steel you might need to bring your own.You are also welcome to bring some of your work that you wish to sell.
