About this Event
**F45 Challengers, get that final flush before the end of the challenge! Drain excess lymph fluids, increase metabolism, and reduce water retention with an ice bath in the final days before your weigh in!
Cold exposure is good for the body in so many ways. In addition to soothing sore muscles and reducing joint pain, it resets stress hormones and cortisol levels, helps eliminate free radicals, boosts the immune system and metabolism, and more! And because breathwork expands your blood vessels and cold immersion contracts, this workshop is also great for creating a “pumping” mechanism in the body, helping flush lymph fluid more efficiently throughout the body, reducing inflammation and the likelihood of getting sick. It also helps boost the amount of nutrient-rich blood circulating around the body, increases oxygen levels, endorphins, and pH, and in general makes participants feel more calm, peaceful, invigorated, and centered after the practice.
We will do 30 minutes of guided Breathwork and a sound bath to get started. Danah explains the science and methodologies behind cold immersion to start, Wim Hof and other techniques included. We also go over what you can expect to feel in the tub, mindset techniques, and warm up exercises. Each person has a goal of staying in the ice bath for three minutes or longer, and we have yet to have anyone not hit that mark!
Come experience all the health benefits of breathwork and cold immersion. Your body will thank you!
