Embrace the chill with the Eynesbury Winter Festival.
The two week event, kicking off on 23 June, is back for the school holidays and features activities the entire family can enjoy, as well as a special kids' program.
Every afternoon during the week you can get involved in activities such as cookie decorating classes, pony rides, reptile encounters, magic shows, circus performances by Cirque Mystique and roaming Disney characters.
On weekends there are events for the whole family, including kids' activity days and live music. The best thing is most of the events are free!
The opening celebrations begin at 5pm on Friday 23 June and will see Eynesbury transform into the Winter Village Square, where you can roast marshmallows over the firepit, or strap on your skates and hit the ice rink.
Other events include winter-themed trivia nights, a night market and an ice hockey exhibition match.
Ms Peacock Kitchen & Bar will be open during the Winter Festival and hosting the trivia nights.
An easy 40-minute drive from Melbourne's CBD, Eynesbury Estate is the perfect place to entertain the family every day during the Victorian school holidays. There's plenty of parking onsite, making it easy for visitors from Melbourne, Ballarat, Geelong, Bendigo and other locations.
The ice-skating rink will be a festival centrepiece with entry to the rink starting from $18 for children (3-14 years), $26 for adults (14 years and over) and $79 for the whole family (4 people). Bookings for the 45-minute sessions are highly recommended.
