We’re excited to close off the first month of our 2025 program with a three-pronged line-up that rollercoasters between alternative and electronica.
Eyes to Argus have a different sound that feels familiar. You can’t easily pin a genre on Eyes to Argus (you can use post-whatever as a catch-all term), but one thing is for certain – their new album Reroot, released last year via Post Recordings (Indianapolis, US), is the most charged and energetic that the band has ever sounded. Reroot is about the trajectory of entering a new decade and getting used to the way it feels.
The Velts, a local post-punk, psychedelic pop band, released their debut studio album ‘Alphabet’ in 2018, which includes an eclectic mix of tracks showcasing the band’s genre-bending capabilities, seamlessly transitioning from raucous post-punk anthems to sprawling, psychedelic sounds. In 2022, they continued their sonic explorations by releasing their EP ‘Past Tense’.
Dafne (Daphne Sammut) is a sonic practitioner who works with both sound and audio-visual synthesis. She creates techno-infused soundscapes that pulse with energy and emotion.
