This course is intended for those who work with children and adults who want to explore the possibility of using eye movements for communication.
This course will cover the following:
• The anatomy of the eyes
• How the eyes and brain work together
• Disability and eye conditions
• What eye examinations can tell you
• How to assess functional vision
• Eye gaze classification scale
• Low tech eye gaze
• How eye gaze cameras work
• Things to consider when using eye gaze devices
PLEASE NOTE: This is a full day course and will be delivered in person at the Clinical School at Addenbrookes Hospital in Cambridge.
