Join us on September 11th for an afternoon to celebrate the art installation, Eye to Eye, Portraits of Pride, Strength, Beauty, as well as speak to the creator and a few of the women featured in the piece.
Program:
3-4 pm: Meet & greet and time to view the series of photos. Light refreshments provided
4-5 pm: Creator Carey Candrian will talk about the project and her inspiration, and a few of the women featured will share their stories
5-5:30 pm: Q&A
About Eye to Eye: These are your neighbors, your friends, your relatives, your colleagues, your patients. They are older women. They are part of the LGBTQ community. They’ve been whispered about, shouted at, insulted, rejected, isolated. But here they are, strong and brave. Why do we make it so difficult for people to be who they really are? And how can we make it better -- safer – for them to speak out, and be heard?
