Mary is a model of discipleship for us because she not only listened to the WORD but lived the WORD. Fr Frank will reflect briefly on the Annunciation and the Visitation as two experiences of Mary that we can also have in our own lives as disciples. Fr Frank will then introduce the website and Sunday scripture resource site www.livingtheword.org.nz and lead a lectio divina (spiritual reading) experience using the resource for the 5th Sunday of Easter. We will then break off into small groups to share together.Introducing Fr Frank who is a Marist priest and who just recently came back to NZ from a 10 year mission trip in Ranong, Thailand supporting Myanmar migrant children and families escaping from Myanmar.
May is the month of Mary, so we will be beginning our May sessions with the rosary! Don't forget your rosary and your Bible for this session.
