Discover fossil hunting on your doorstep with award-winning children's independent publisher, Dodo and Dinosaur, in partnership with AtoBetter and Norfolk County Council.Ahead of the launch of AtoBetter’s new and exciting Prehistoric Quest this summer, join Dodo and Dinosaur for a fun and free Extraordinary Extinct™ Activity Workshop at Blofield Library.
Drop in after school from 4pm to take part in free-flow activities, followed by a reading of ‘Extraordinary Extinct Prehistoric Minibeasts: A First Guide to Fossils’ at 5.15pm, with authors Jill Michelle Smith and Jennifer Watson.
Enjoy handling real fossils and learn how to identify common types for yourself. Create your own prehistoric crafts to take home and collect a free Explorer Guide, packed with fun facts, puzzles and a colouring competition to inspire your family to explore your local area!
There will also be an opportunity for parents to chat with the AtoBetter team about your thoughts on future activities within your community.
