About Our Students
Extended Education is the division of the University of Manitoba providing both non-degree (non-credit) continuing education and pathways to degree studies. We are the preferred higher education training partner in Manitoba, and a premier provider of online professional development programs in Canada. Our programs and courses draw upon the expertise of the university, industry and community.
Extended Education works in partnership with other UM faculties and schools, to develop and deliver quality courses and programs for working professionals and students.
Registration Information
- Only the registered exhibitor may occupy the booth.
- Booth placement will be based on support level, date of registration and at the discretion of Extended Education.
- Proof of insurance is required.
- Within two weeks of your registration approval, you must provide a Certificate of Insurance (COI) evidencing Comprehensive General Liability Insurance including the following:
1. Not less than $2,000,000.00 ($2 Million).
2. With the University of Manitoba added as an “Additional Insured” with respect to liability arising out of the operations of the exhibitor.
3. The insurance policy should also include a cross-liability clause.
This can be obtained through your insurance broker. The COI can be emailed to [email protected]. Your participation and placement cannot be guaranteed without this policy.
- We encourage all exhibitors to register early, as space is limited.
Exhibitor Guidelines
Please ensure that your booth is set-up by 1:00 p.m., 30 minutes prior to the doors opening.
We ask that exhibitors do not dismantle their booth until the Career Fair has ended.
Please do not leave your booth unattended. The University of Manitoba and the RBC Convention Centre are not responsible for theft, breakage or lost items.
During the fair, each booth must be staffed by an exhibitor representative. We ask that you remain at your booth for the duration of the Career Fair.
If possible, please wear company ID to identify yourself as a representative.
Exhibitors must display material in a way that does not obstruct sight lines of other exhibitors.
We encourage exhibitors to document the event and share stories on social media. Photographs and videos taken of children, during the event, are prohibited and may not be used in any public form.
We ask that exhibitors respect the space, privacy, and wishes of all attendees and do not post images of them without their written consent.
Cancellation Policy
Deadline to register is 4:00 p.m. (CST) on November 18, 2024.
Cancellations received after this date will not be refunded.
Note: Any organization that registers after the cancellation deadline will be charged in full, irrespective of any cancellations received.
Confirmation and Payment
Payment is due upon registration.
All exhibitors are subject to approval. Exhibitors will receive an email confirmation once their registration has been accepted.
If an exhibitor does not align with the mission of the Extended Education Career Fair, a full refund will be issued.
