The Adelaide Art Society presents Expressive Portrait Painting in Oils by award-winning Adelaide artist, Ignacio Rojas. The workshop is on 1st and 2nd November between 10am and 4pm.Day 1: Use a step-by-step process to capture likeness, volume and realistic skin tones with a limited palette.
Day 2: Work from a live model and put your skills into practice, as Ignacio shares his proven techniques for creating portraits that are fast, expressive and convincing. Focusing on the four main aspects of painting a portrait from life. Proportion, values, colour and edges.
