An exciting creative clay and painting workshop over two mornings in June inspired by museum artefacts.
About this Event

An exciting workshop designed for adults with or without previous experience to explore the endless possibilities of clay.

Carol Wagstaff & Andie Armstrong, will guide you on a journey of discovery using clay while taking your inspiration from the collection of artefacts to be found in the nestled in the heart of Shoreham High Street.

The course will run over two morning sessions in June - 12th and 26th (from 9.30am to 1pm on each date).

You will be encouraged to wander, observe (and sketch if you like) before embarking on your journey of discovery.

Both Carol & Andie use clay in very different ways and will encourage and assist you to find your own voice using this most ancient of mediums.

At the end of the first session your work will be removed, dried and fired ready for the second phase of the course - to decorate your objects using acrylics. If time permits, you will also be encouraged to make a painting from observation of your created work.
