About this Event
Join us at the National Portrait Gallery for an interactive art making workshop that fosters self-reflection and personal wellbeing. Inspired by the Kinship exhibition, participants will explore themes of community and family through creating their own miniature 3D “comfort cube” to represent a space that brings them feelings of safety, comfort, and support. This workshop will be co-facilitated by a registered art therapist and museum educator. No previous art making experience is required. Adults 18+. Free. Registration required.
The Portrait Gallery strives to provide programs that are accessible to all visitors. If you have questions about the accessibility of this program, or if you would like to request real-time captioning (CART), sign language interpretation, or any other accommodations, please contact [email protected]. Two weeks' advance notice is appreciated for requesting accommodations.
Please contact Katherine Pedrick ([email protected]) and/or Irina Rubenstein ([email protected]) with any questions about the program.
