8 weeks of art classes with Victor ArcegaThis atelier-style workshop invites artists and serious beginners to explore the expressive and experimental possibilities of the human figure. Working from a live model each week, you’ll delve into personal interpretation, bold design, and unexpected (even accidental) imagery, all in a spirit of risk-taking and discovery.
Each session includes open dialogue with the instructor and a focus on essential drawing strategies: linear movement, shape dynamics, tonal development, spatial relationships, and compositional shortcuts. You’ll work with the materials of your choice—pencil, pen, ink, charcoal, pastel, gouache, watercolor, or paint—as you develop a body of creative studies.
Over eight weeks, you’ll build a collection of process-rich work, culminating in a two-day exhibition: Art in Process—a celebration of sketches, studies, and imaginative experiments.
