Exposure is home to House Music in Houston, and celebrates this beautiful culture by crafting unique combinations of house veterans, new talents, as well as local & out of town guest DJs.
This month is extra special. As the spring sets in, the dawn of a new era unfolds. House is a music that even in it's evolution, reaches back in time and remixes, revives, and revitalizes old to modern music at the same time. For some, we have gotten to see this unfold decades at a time, so this particular episode of Exposure will feature two local legends! The first, is the iconic OG known in the ground zero circuit as Tony Powell. His resume dates back to the 70's and is one of the most instrumental foundations in this city of Houston's underground circuit. Tony is responsible for countless hours behind the decks at some of the hottest bars, parties, and afterhours for every walk of life who celebrate House Music in all of it's forms! We are also celebrating his 21st + a few years birthday!
Next up, is one of dj NIMBUS personal influences via radio shows dating back to his college years such at the Funhouse & Middle Earth mixes on 97.9 The Boxx, later to meet in person at Club Element in Austin TX ( dj NIMBUS hometown ). Meet Jason Hilbert, another OG of Houston's House Music scene. These two are guaranteed to sweat your wig out! dj NIMBUS will open and close out the night.
Be sure to arrive early, as it gets jumping early and parking can become a challenge as the night goes on! ( DON'T BE TARDY TO THE PARTY!!! )
