Did you know that Ohio is home to over 2,000 species of wild mushrooms? Mid-April through May is prime mushroom time in Ohio depending on where you live. Several species are edible and a delicious meal if properly prepared.
Instructors will focus on Ohio’s most sought-after edible mushroom, the morel. Learn the basics of how to identify them, where to find them, and laws on collecting. The class is free, but registration is required, and space is limited.
Attendees should meet at the Spring Valley Shooting Range and Education Center at 3570 Houston Rd, Waynesville, OH 45068 Thursday, April 25, 2024, 6 pm – 8 pm.
