About this Event

Challenge ideas of perfectionism by exploring the art form of Continuous Line drawings

Join Reclaim Art Tribe at One Colchester Community Hub for this FREE creative session.

In this session we will be exploring the art form of continuous line drawings. These drawings are made by drawing an object or picture with the pen never leaving the page. This method creates unique drawings, and challenges you to not 'edit' your work - the imperfections make the art unique.

In the session there will be a range of objects for you to use as subjects for your work. There will also be a variety of pens, pencils and paper for you to experiment with. You are welcome to bring in your own art supplies if you prefer, however all materials will be provided.

This session welcomes everyone of differing art abilities. You are invited to make your drawings as simple or as complex as you like. Adelaide, who will be hosting the session, will be available to support and guide you in exploring this art form.

Tea and coffee will be available throughout the session free of charge.

This session is open to all adults (18+). Reclaim Art Tribe sessions are LGBTQIA+, neurodiverse and mental health inclusive – every adult is welcome here. Please reach out if you have any accessibility needs.

This session will be held at One Colchester Community Hub, a friendly and supportive hub bringing community together. The area we will be in is located on the ground floor, and there is a disabled toilet available for use. One Colchester Community Hub is located next to Savers, and opposite Romano Lounge. The nearest parking available is Britannia Car Park and Priory Street Car Park. As One Colchester Community Hub is near the high street, there is good access to public transport, with bus stops nearby, and is a 6 minute walk from Colchester Town Train Station.

Take this session as an opportunity to relax, get creative, and connect with your local community.
