Tēnā koutou! So excited for this adventure... We are visiting Shaw's Bird Park to learn about their native bird rehabilitation mahi, feed ruru (owls), kererū (wood pigeon) and bunnies, see peacocks and ducklings, explore their growing forest, and much more!Please arrive by 3.45 for whakawhanaungatanga (getting to know each other) and H&S.
At 4pm we will explore the aviaries and find out about the work that takes place in this park.
After that we will loop around the park, and finish somewhere between 5 and 5.30pm. (If you need to head off sooner, kei te pai!)
Things to bring:
* sunscreen and a hat
* water bottle and a snack
* fruit or vegetable scraps for feeding the bunnies (OPTIONAL)
