About this Event
Give students hands-on experience with model organisms as they learn to recognize levels of organization within plants and animals. This includes viewing cells under a microscope, extracting DNA, and talking to researchers about how these disciplines are used in research!
Some of the guided activities:
- Make qualitative and quantitative observations about plants and animals to discover the difference between them.
- Make and view plant and animal microscope slides to understand the differences between the two at a cellular level.
- Learn how to extract DNA from plants and animals to determine how alike and different they can be.
Refund Policy:
Full refunds will be given if requested more than 7 days before the start date of your event.
Partial refunds (50% tuition) will be given if requested 7 days or less before the start date of your event.
