Sadly this event is canceled due to bad weather! Join Cork Nature Network on Saturday 25 May at 1p.m. as we celebrate Biodiversity Week with a fun excursion into the Glen. John O'Sullivan will lead an informative and interactive walk identifying the many insects that live in the Glen and their importance to the ecosystem.
Meeting place will be in front of the Glen Resource Centre.

About our speaker:
John O'Sullivan is a Guest Lecturer with UCC and has a background in Plant Science. His research interests include conservation, regeneration and urban ecology, with particular emphasis on entomology. He reported the first instance of the alien Harlequin Ladybird breeding in Ireland, and has also recorded several insect species new to both Cork and Ireland.
