About this Event

What is Humanism? And why does it matter today?

Join us for the first session in our Exploring Humanism series, where we delve into the core principles and enduring philosophy of Humanism—a worldview grounded in reason, ethics, and human compassion.

This conversation will explore:
– What Humanism is (and is not)
– The historical roots of Humanist thought
– How Humanism offers guidance in modern life without reliance on religion
– Why Humanism matters in building inclusive, ethical, and thoughtful communities

Whether you’re new to the term or already identify as a Humanist, this session is designed to provoke reflection, encourage dialogue, and deepen understanding.

📍Hosted by The Agora Institute – a space for open minds and sincere hearts.
🎙️ Format: Short presentation followed by interactive conversation.
🫱 All are welcome—come as you are.
