Take a break for lunch and discover our community’s past at the Exploring History Luncheon, presented in partnership with the Historic Preservation Committee. This month’s topic is “Deciphering Colonial Handwriting” by Suellen Dunn.The luncheon will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 17, at 11:30 a.m. at Larry J. Ringer Library. Attendance is free, but lunch is $10 for residents and $12 for non-residents. Lunch reservations are required by Friday, Sept. 12. A limited number of meals will be available at the door for $12. Reserve your lunch online, by calling 979-764-3486, or by visiting any parks facility. Payment is due at registration.
