About this Event

Join The 'What Would Marcus Do?' Book Club for our first ever special event, an intimate evening with acclaimed Ottawa author Michael F. Stewart, exploring his moving novel Heart Sister.

In Heart Sister, the tragedy of a family’s loss unfolds into unexpected good in the lives of others, revealing how grief can give rise to unexpected meaning and transformation. Together, we will reflect on these themes as they resonate with the Stoic lens on fate and the expectations we carry.

This special evening invites readers, thinkers, and the simply curious to gather in thoughtful conversation about literature, philosophy, and the ways we respond to life’s turns.
