Exploring Drawing - a six week HeArtfull Art for Enjoyment course
Join us in person for a fun, relaxed journey into the world of drawing!
Over six weeks, you'll explore basic techniques, experiment with different media, build creative confidence, and enjoy making art with others.
No pressure, just a warm welcome in a relaxed and non judgmental group and lots of inspiration.
Whether you're a beginner or just looking for a creative boost, this course is all about enjoying the process and expressing yourself through drawing.
Come ready to explore and have a great time!
Meeting weekly, 18:30-20: 30 in Studio 4 upstairs at Fisherton Mill.
Over the course through a series of games and observational drawing projects we will cover:-
- quality of line and mark making
- texture and shading
- light sources and contrast
- 3D planes
- composition
- basic perspective
Materials and refreshments are provided, but please feel welcome to bring your personal sketchbook and materials you enjoy using.
Over the six weeks we will experiment on a variety of papers with the following media:-
- pencil
- charcoal
- pastels
- ink
- collage and mixed media
HeArtfull Art for Enjoyment Evenings are hosted by Tamsin Loveday, a professional artist with a community focus and 20 years experience in leading creaive workshops. Tamsin's mission is to help people reconnect with their inner creative spark. Her speicalities are paper, print and book arts, and working with people in the creative health and arts and heritage sectors.
Tickets are for the whole 6 week course representing excellent value at around £10 per hour including materials and pdf worksheets. Tickets are non refundable and not transferrable. However if you miss a week you will receive the pdf worksheet for that week.
