A guided environmental science experience for your young explorers.
About this Event
Charlotte Kemp, PhD is a transformative innovator and focused on your well-being. John Bray is an outstanding (Ofsted) educator focused on inquiry.
Between them, they have over 40 years of experience in supporting young people and families. And we LOVE the outdoors!
We want everyone in Sheffield to feel able to connect with nature and understand how to turn that connection into a force for your wellbeing.
Bring just you or you + kids and join a guided exploration through one of Sheffield's amazing natural environments.
A calming, relaxed antidote to the daily rush for you.
A fun and informative experience for your children.
We will be walking towards the peak district, following the Porter Brook on a stable but occasionally muddy path and connecting with nature.
Our aim is to support your wellbeing through mindfulness activities and connecting with nature.
Our young explorers will engage with their environment by identifying and imagining the natural world as we walk among the trees. We will investigate an ecosystem in action and wonder what might live there that we can't see.
This session will provide:
1.A break from the planning and doing - a chance to rest your thinking brain; come and be walked
2.An opportunity to be in your body; gentle movement and a reconnection to the senses in nature
3.A chance for connection; through exploring experiences together and facilitated deeper conversations
We hope you will join us.
