Exploring Astrology

Exploring Astrology is a small group that meets monthly to learn more about ourselves through our relationship to the cosmos.

Every month, we will focus our discussion on whatever zodiac sign the sun is in that month. We will look at our natal charts and learn about where the energy of that zodiac sign shows up in our charts, what planets are there, and how that energy plays out in our lives. Throughout the course of a year, we will cover the entire birth chart!

We may also discuss current transits like eclipses, ingresses, and retrogrades, and talk about how they may play out for you based on where they are happening in your chart.

We will be combining traditional and modern aspects of Western Tropical Astrology, and for the purposes of simplicity, we will use the Whole Sign house system.

What you'll need for the meeting:

-a notebook and something to write with
-a copy of your natal chart*** (see below for how to get a copy if you don't have one)
-a snack will be provided, but you may want to bring a bottle of water

How to get a copy of your natal chart:

1. You can email me at [email protected] with your date of birth, time of birth, and location of birth, and I will print your natal chart and bring it to the meeting for you free of charge. If you would like me to print and bring your chart, please send me your birth info at least 24 hours before the meeting.
2. You can visit www.astro.com and get a free copy of your birth chart. Please go into the advanced settings and opt for the Whole Sign house system if you are using this option.

Suggested Donation

The suggested donation range for this meeting is $20-40. The donation covers the cost of renting the meeting space, considerable time and energy preparing reference materials for the group, preparation of the content of the group, as well as compensating me for my time and expertise facilitating the group.
