Join us to explore different methods of keeping a sketchbook to appreciate the world around you. We will focus on buildings and botanicals taking inspiration from the plants on our Clore Learning terrace. Methods of making will include drawing with pencil, pen, water colour paints and 3D pens. Weather permitting we will use sun photography to capture our plant cuttings.

This event is for anyone aged 55 or over that has an interest in discovering more about architecture, with a chance for discussion and refreshments in the Clore Learning Centre after the tour.

Free, please book a place.

Exploring Architecture is a monthly free event at 66 Portland Place, usually on the first of the month based in the Clore Learning Centre. Each month will take a different format, including tours, creative activities and special insights into the RIBA Collections with an opportunity to socialise.
