Exploring Architecture: Martin Charles Exhibition, Curator talk

Thursday 3rd October 2024, 2pm-3.30pm

Join us for a short talk with Suzanne Waters, Digital Image Cataloguer and Co-Curator of the new library exhibition featuring the architectural photography of Martin Charles. Explore his work on the photographing of late 20th century architecture and iconic historic buildings, by hearing Suzanne’s talk, looking at his images and some of the work of photographers who influenced him, before taking in the library exhibition at your own pace.

This event is for anyone aged 55 or over that has an interest in discovering more about architecture, with a chance for discussion and refreshments in the Clore Learning Centre.

Free, please book a place.

Exploring Architecture is a monthly free event at 66 Portland Place, usually on the first of the month based in the Clore Learning Centre. Each month will take a different format, including tours, creative activities and special insights into the RIBA Collections with an opportunity to socialise.
