Exploring abstract still life with ink and graphite sticks
The first tutor for 2025 is Jeht Burgoyne.
Explore the dynamic flexibility and fluidity of working with ink and graphite sticks. During this tutorial participants will be guided on how to layer inks and achieve depth of tone
expressive line and free up within their art making practices. The group will also be working with water-soluble and non-water soluble graphite sticks to build their works.
The class will focus on loosening up the way that they approach a still life by learning abstraction methods. There will also be use of other unorthodox mediums that will incorporated into the art pieces such as liquid paper, bingo markers and phone book
