🌍 Explore the Shore at Martinique Beach! 🐚 Join us for a special Explore the Shore event at Martinique Beach on Saturday, April 26, in celebration of Earth Week! Spend a meaningful morning by the sea enjoying fresh air and practicing simple actions that help protect one of Nova Scotia’s most beautiful beaches.
Who Can Join?
This event is open to families with children of all ages.
What to Expect:
We will be cleaning up the beach while doing a fun coastal scavenger hunt! ESFRA will provide everything you need to help make a positive impact!
What to Bring:
Dress for the conditions — Nova Scotia beaches are windy and wet, so waterproof footwear, warm layers, and a windbreaker are recommended. Pack a snack and water — we’ll be on the move, so a little fuel goes a long way.
About Martinique Beach:
Located less than an hour from Halifax, Martinique Beach Provincial Park is the longest sandy beach in Nova Scotia, stretching over 5 km of protected shoreline. With designated surfing areas, boardwalks, and sweeping ocean views, it’s a favourite spot for locals and visitors alike.
