Explore the Scrub Hike

Join LEC staff on this guided hike in Lyonia Preserve to learn about Florida’s unique scrub habitat. We’ll be visiting the small wetland and be on the lookout for the Florida scrub jay. Participants should be prepared to hike approximately 1.5 miles on unpaved sugar sand trails, dress appropriately for the weather and bring water. This program is recommended for ages 10 and up.
