About this Event
Ideal for: Ages 6-12 years
Join author Anthony Burt for an exciting look at the animals, the lighthouse and pirates in his Caribbean adventure book, The Animal Lighthouse. Anthony will talk about how he became a children’s author, and there will be farting crab fun (yes, you read that right!), singing, drawing and a map-making story workshop where you can create your own island adventure!
Anthony Burt has worked in primary, secondary and adult education for over twenty years, and run inspiring community youth work, art, film and TV projects for children with SEND. He’s a professional slime-maker, qualified teacher, book festival host, and loyal butler to his cat, Watson. Anthony has been writing since he was five-years-old, and has written scripts for CiTV, Doctor Who Adventures magazine, Nickelodeon, and Disney.
Tickets are free. Please book tickets individually so we have information for each person attending.
