Get off the beaten track with this course, designed to advance your navigation skills to allow you to do just that - EXPLORE with confidence!​Following a path or track is great - but what do you do when the way disappears in front of you, or it's just not so clear. In a small group, you will work together to put into practice compass and relocation techniques as well as building on existing knowledge.
AIM
You'll leave this session feeling confident that you can use a compass, walk off path and tracks, and have tools in your tool box for when things don't go to plan. (and for when they do!) If you have some basic knowledge of map work, or you have already joined me for the Activate course (beginner to nav) then this is a great next step for you.
WHATS INCLUDED
- up to 6.5 hours developing your navigation skills with a qualified leader who also holds a First Aid certificate
- Maps and compass supplied

You wont need much kit - and certainly nothing fancy! But an idea of what to bring will be sent out after booking along with what to expect
Please bring your own lunch and snacks. Toilets are at the venue.
