
About this Event
Explore Arlington ISD is the kickoff event to learn about the Arlington ISD's application and non-application programs offered from Pre-K-12. Specialized Programs like Early College High School, P-TECH, STEM, Fine Arts and Dual Language Academies, and Leadership showcase their programming opportunities with demonstrations and performances. Families can talk to students and leaders from each program to learn about what they have to offer. This event is also the launch for the Specialized Programs application window that opens at noon on Tuesday, October 21.
Specialized Programs
Elementary Programs
Crow Leadership Academy is an IB Primary Years Progamme focusing on service and global citizenship. This program is one of only a few in the state.
Wimbish World Language Academy students are fully immersed in a dual language environment in either English/Spanish or English/French.
Fine Arts & Dual Language Academies
Corey & Jones Academy of Fine Arts and Dual Language students engage in Spanish, visual arts, music, and performing arts.
Gunn Junior High Fine Arts and Dual Language Academy students engage in an all-new dance studio and black box theater as they study visual or performing arts along with the dual language component of the program.
Arlington High completes the fine arts and dual language pathway.
STEM Academies
Pearcy STEM Academy students experience STEM opportunities throughout the day.
Martin STEM Academy prepares students for STEM college majors and careers in Engineering, Biomedical Science, and Technology and Computer Science.
Early College High School
Arlington Collegiate High School partners with TCC Southeast campus to give students a college experience as they work toward an associate degree.
Arlington College & Career High School students learn in a college environment as they work toward an associate degree and workforce certifications.
P-TECH
Bowie P-TECH students earn an associate degree and participate in traditional high school programs with an emphasis on health sciences.
Lamar P-TECH students earn an associate degree and participate in traditional high school programs with an emphasis on business and cybersecurity.
Sam Houston P-TECH students earn an associate degree and participate in traditional high school programs with an emphasis on logistics, business, and mechatronics.
Seguin P-TECH students earn an associate degree and participate in traditional high school programs with an emphasis on mechanical engineering and Computer Aided Design (CAD).
