Join us for this month's Explore & Observe at the Preserve, where children (up to age 10) will learn all about ecosystems by creating their very own self-sustaining microhabitat! šāØ
Using materials found right here at the Preserveādirt, moss, micro plants, and even tiny creepy crawliesākids can choose to build either a land or water-based environment inside a clear plastic bottle (provided).
This hands-on lesson encourages creativity, observation, and an appreciation for the delicate balance of nature. After the activity, children are welcome to stay and enjoy some free play time in the Preserve!
