About this Event
Exploring is an interactive, worksite-based career education program of Learning for Life, an affiliate of the Boy Scouts of America. The program serves youth in 6th-8th grades, and young men and women who are 14 through 20 years old.
Medic’s EXPLORER post is a fun and educational
way for interested students to learn about the emergency medical services (EMS) field. EXPLORERS help
prepare young men and women for a successful
career in prehospital medicine at one of the nation’s top EMS organizations.
Working beside business professionals, students gain
hands-on experience, on-site training and exposure
to different aspects of the EMS industry.
At the September 15 EXPLORE EMS event, students
and their families will receive a tour of Medic’s new,
state-of-the-art facility and refreshments will be
served.
