About this Event
This workshop will take place on June 23rd through the 27th from 6pm to 9pm each day.
In this workshop, Join artist Emily Taylor for a 5-day exploration into acrylic painting. Participants will approach painting from many different angles, breaking down elements of color, texture, value, and composition, exploring each within parameters of structured exercises that isolate a given element. This will build up to larger and/or more sustained painting and student generated ideas and frameworks. We will work daily with color, composition, and concepts, look at each others work, learn from each other, look at many different historical and contemporary painters and painting practices, and generally have fun getting deep into the world of painting.
