First Session:

Raisa Lipatova, Performance QA Team Lead at RingCentral, will share her insights on "Performance Testing Specifics of K8s-Based Applications."

“Ten years ago, in 2014, the first commit of Kubernetes was pushed to GitHub (according to Google), and yet still it’s a new technology which is changing the way engineers work with resources, with deployments, with production support, and the way it should be performance tested and analyzed. I want to share with you which issues we've met while moving our services to k8s in terms of performance testing and the ways we've solved them”.

Second Session:

Igor Goldshmidt, QA Team Lead at Via, will present "Mind Maps: A Tool Against Panic in Testing Large Features."

Introduction to Igor’s Talk:

“In an ideal Agile world, we should develop small features, specifically user stories, and efficiently complete them within a sprint. However, in reality, stories often translate to more extensive features, and many require careful thought and planning for testing. We sometimes encounter mega features that cause panic when we start reading the specifications. This is challenging for test engineers, turning it into a “Houston, we have a problem” situation. In my talk, I will share the experience of a team composed of juniors who managed to eliminate panic during the analysis and planning of testing within just a few months by using Mind Maps”.
