Celebrate the International Year of Glaciers' Preservation with us!
Mount Royal University and the Consulate General of Switzerland in Vancouver cordially invite you to join our community of educators, researchers, innovators, and students at the Expert Panel on Climate Change and Ice Loss event.
Four leading experts from Switzerland and Canada will explore the accelerating loss of glaciers and sea ice on the panel. This engaging discussion will examine the far-reaching impacts of ice melt on global climate systems, environmental governance and sustainable business practices.
The event aims to encourage participants to reflect on the climate crisis, promote science-based thinking and facilitate collaboration across disciplines to develop practical strategies for mitigating the effects of polar and glacial ice loss.
