Exploring Music and CreativityAngel Dee performer musician and trained workshop leader will be encouraging participants to develop their own songs and sounds from scratch.
This workshop will be an introduction for creating original pieces of music, using this method of art to express ourselves. It will be a brief introduction to the process of producing a full piece of work tailored from inception to completion, and how to adapt the process to our own individualistic styles and workflows.
We will discuss the music we like and why we like it, what it makes us think of and how it makes us feel, analyse a couple of chosen song examples and write and record our own loop/chorus. It will feature elements of:-
Songwriting
Chord Structures
Melodies
Keys/Scales
Playing and Singing
Recording
Participants can take part in one or all elements of the process, have a go on some instruments, write lyrics, sing or rap, program beats and use the technology to put together our piece.
