About this Event
In this class, artists are challenged to explore the freedom of improvisation in their work. Participants will develop perceptual, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills by experimenting with form, color, composition, and texture with their own two-dimensional works using oil painting and mono-print techniques. Students will also develop imagery, to push their drawings, and oil painting skills to a new level. In this class, another vital component is for artists to understand the economic strategies one can employ to both be creative and connect with the art within their community. A group reception will be held on Sunday, April 23 at Plaza as part of the atelier experience.
