About this Event
Creative public workshop.
The workshop will encourage engagement with research questions relating to Anti-discrimination rights in relation to post-colonial identities in Northern Ireland and Ukraine.
Through this creative and civic engagement, workshop participants will be involved in the shaping of artworks that will be presented in a temporary exhibition in the civic space of the museum in order to communicate and extend discussions about the activation of rights within and beyond the EU in the public realm.
The event is organised in collaboration between the Jean Monnet Centre for European Integration and Citizens' Rights (JMCE EUIR) and the Glucksman Gallery at University College Cork. The JMCE EUIR aim to explore the contribution of EU-derived rights to EU legitimacy within its borders, in its neighbourhood, and globally. More information on the JMCE EUIR here.
