About Brethren
Brethren is an all-male professional singing group based from out of Northern Virginia. Founded in 2006, this men’s a cappella ensemble is comprised of professional, military, and church musicians from throughout the DC metropolitan area and across the United States. Patrick Vaughn, Director of Youth Choruses, and Conductor for the Master Singers and Symphonic Chorus of the Fairfax Choral Society, is the co-founder and artistic director of Brethren. Brethren brings an eclectic mix of many musical genres and styles to their critically acclaimed performances. From Renaissance polyphony to traditional hymnody to spirituals to patriotic standards to southern gospel - Brethren delivers a choral program that is sure to please all audiences and one that will not soon be forgotten. After the concert, stay for a complimentary post-concert reception with light refreshments where you can mingle with friends and meet the artists.
