Experience the Ganzfeld Effect: Visual and Auditory Hallucinations

The Ganzfeld Procedure is a simple experiment that involves listening to white noise and looking at a uniform field of light. After several minutes, many people who try it report visual and auditory hallucinations.

During this event, we'll explain a little more about the Ganzfeld Effect (including why and how it works), and then give you the opportunity to try it for yourself. You're also welcome just to watch other participants trying out the Procedure.

The Ganzfeld Procedure is an entirely safe and non-invasive procedure. It involves listening to radio static and looking at a uniform field of light. Most hallucinations are quite mild, and you can stop at any time.

At the end of the evening we'll discuss and take notes of what we saw and experienced.
