About this Event
Come find your tribe of new parents, share support, and learn from the wisdom of some of Boston’s most experienced and beloved doulas!
.
This event is open to expectant and new parents of all ages and genders, at any stage of pregnancy and the first year postpartum, and babies are welcome.
.
We'll relax and enjoy a nourishing light meal, while we talk about the highs and lows of caring for a new life; the transitions happening in your family; and make time for questions and answers. By meeting other new parents, you can share your experiences to benefit others, and they can do the same for you.
.
Our meeting location is the Little Cocoa Bean Co. in Jamaica Plain, MA -- an eatery, community gathering spot, and playspace dedicated to serving healthy, culturally diverse foods and uplifting families with young kids.
.
Upcoming dates are on Sundays from 5:30-7:00 PM:
- April 21 -- Discussion: Preparing for the changes ahead
- May 19 -- Discussion: Birth or adoption as a rite of passage
- June 23 -- Discussion: How do you find enough support?
- July date TBA -- Discussion: Baby-feeding is a full-time job
.
Your admission includes food, beverages and access to the children's playspace. Tickets are $18 per parent, and if this is your first time attending, use promo code FIRST for 50% off! Babies and their older siblings are welcome at no charge!
.
