About this Event
The crisis of afforadble housing is an old story. However, in the world’s most productive countries, how do we plan on meeting the ever-increasing demand for housing? Join us in an evening of discussion with veteran residential design architect Peter Bafitis and young developer Jack Heaney in discussing the current climate and future of housing. Peter Bafitis, AIA, has over thirty years of experience in the design and construction of a diverse range of projects. He has focused his career on strengthening the urban environment by reinforcing the social institutions that sustain it. This has centered on neighborhood preservation achieved most prominently through the design and integration of affordable housing, K-12 schools, and transportation facilities. As co-founder of Fulcrum Architecture D.P.C., Jack Heaney acts as project architect overseeing the design production process. Fulcrum has afforable housing projects in development in all four boroughs of NYC.
