Do you have an exotic pet that you are no longer able to care for? If so, bring your pet to the Exotic Pet Surrender Event on January 11th between 12 PM and 3 PM at the College of Shawano Community High School - Agriculture Wing, Room 1206, 220 County Rd B, Shawano, WI 54166. Please use door letter I for access to the event.🐠🦗 What we're accepting: Fish, invertebrates, reptiles, pet birds, small mammals, and plants—no questions asked.
Ensure your pet's safety by bringing them in a secure container.
🚫 What we're not accepting: Domestic pets like dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, pigs, and chickens. If you have domestic animals, inquire with local shelters or rescues for rehoming options. We also cannot take Wisconsin Native Wildlife that has been taken from the wild.
Animals originating from out of state need a CVI.

• Capture memories at our photobooth with rescued pets!
In some areas, rehoming options for exotic animals are limited, and releasing them is harmful to both the animal and the environment. We're here to provide a compassionate alternative.
After a brief quarantine period, all surrendered animals will be available for adoption.
